Hello everyone. In my previous vlog i asked one question: Had Adam and Eve not rebelled and ate of the fruit, WHERE would they be right now?

After reviewing the material, as far as I understand the answer to that question is “here on Earth- still living and roaming around”. Specifically, I don’t know if they would still be in the Garden of Eden or elsewhere. It would be difficult to

pinpoint their exact location, but I do know that they would still be here on the Earth.

I came to that conclusion because one of the consequences of their rebellion was death.

“but of the tree… you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” -Genesis 2:17

Some people refer to the consequence as a spiritual death and others view it as a physical death. I see it both ways. Adam and Eve’s relationship with YHWH (God) becamse strained and they had to be separated, thus their spiritual death. Physically, they also died because YHWH eventually had to put a time limit on human life, 120 years.

“Then YHWH said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time… their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.” -Gen. 6:3

So, from that we can safely conclude that YHWH’s plan for humans to live forever was limited due to the rebellion. If the rebellion had not happened, they would still be living today.

Now, maybe some people will say “So? This is not important. It already happened, why are we worrying about this?” Well, I do think that this is important because it shows us YHWH’s original intent and purpose for putting humans on the Earth.

YHWH’s original purpose for us being here is to live here. His purpose in putting us here was not to just see us go on about our daily business and then get to Heaven. Once again, His purpose was for us to be HERE on EARTH, having dominion, subduing, and ruling it.

“YHWH said, “Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion over the fish, the birds, the cattle, and over all the earth…” -Gen. 1:26

That was His original goal- for us to dominate the Earth that he has given us. For us to run it and to take care of it. It was not to have us merely get by until we die and get to Heaven.

“The heaven, even the heavens, are YHWH’s; but the earth he has given to the children of men.” -Psalms 115:16

When the rebellion happened, the authority and dominion that humans had was transferred to the devil, but the good thing for us is that we are living in a time in which the Messiah has already came. His coming has redeemed us. And the authority that the devil had, Yahushua (Jesus) stripped and gave back to humans.

That reverts life back to the original plan YHWH had for us- to dominate the Earth. That original plan is now in effect again for those of us who have received Yahushua’s redemption and dwell in his Spirit. The devil does not have authority any more, it is ours now.

“YHWH made you alive with Messiah. He forgave us all our sins. And having disarmed the powers and authorities (devil) by the cross…” -Col. 2:13-15

“Through death Yahushua makes powerless the devil who had the power of death.” -Heb. 2:14

Now that we understand the original plan and that we are in it, we will need to change our mindset. The thought that we have telling us that we just need to hurry up and go to Heaven needs to be removed. That mentality can be offensive to YHWH because it undermines His purpose for putting humans on the Earth. We ignore that purpose on Earth and instead fix our minds on Heaven. When we do that, we forget our purpose here on Earth as well as the talents and gifts given to us.

We ought to think of how to serve other people and how we can live our lives to glorify Him. These are important aspects of our lives on Earth.

These concepts I’ve discussed here can be found in Yahushua’s continuous preaching on the subject of “the Kingdom of YHWH is at hand”. Yahushua’s instistence on discussing the Kingdom can be found throughout the first four books of the New Testaments. During all this time I’ve been reading the Scriptures, I’ve kind of overlooked that subject. However, recently I’ve started to see the importance of that subject. A very big picture of our lives on Earth can be painted with the Kingdom thought.

I intend to, from now on, to share my thoughts about Kingdom Life.
